Like a gloomy, rainy day, a down economy can keep you indoors, and make you reluctant to do much of anything. Well, maybe you should dig out that note pad or scrap of paper and take another look at that dream idea.

People are more likely to respond to an outside-the-box idea when the box is bare.
Eventually, everyone is going to get bored of thumb twiddling, the sun will come out and people will start spending again.
