Sterling Concepts and The Ivy Cottage asked IMEC to deliver a TV commercial to express the benefits of shopping locally. IMEC first devised the slogan “stimulating the local economy two families at a time”, followed with a storyboard and feel-good concept that best illustrated a scenario that covered two target demographics. Every stage of production was handled in-house. This campaign has already received aclaim in the online viral market and can be seen locally on WECT, FOX and NBC. This ad was shot on location at the College Road Goodnight Sleep Store. We used a jib arm which allowed us to achieve the elevated shots and sweeping pans, lending a national feel to this local commercial. Once again, every stage of production was handled in house.
People are buying with their heads, not with their hearts.
A logical approach will outwit a romantic approach, but you must be at your most creative to make a logical message memorable. This is old advice to the companies listed in this link.
